Central Firefighters L3535 is a special district in Santa Cruz County protecting the communities of Santa Cruz, Live Oak, Soquel, Aptos, Rio Del Mar, and La Selva Beach. We are composed of 80 plus dedicated members that are proud to serve our home. Central Firefighters L3535 are composed of two legacy agencies; Central Fire District and Aptos/La Selva Fire District, who merged in February 2021 to form a new fire agency named Central Fire District of Santa Cruz County. The resident population is approximately 90,500, with a seasonal influx during the summer, and covers an area of 55 square miles. Your L3535 Firefighters has vast knowledge and experience to fight for fair wages, good working conditions and benefits for our members.
